More documentaries and short films are exploring the importance of the night as light pollution grows, new threats emerge, and awareness builds around the need to protect dark skies.

This year, we’re showcasing several films that celebrate the night, document the challenges it faces, and share stories of people working to protect it. Join the filmmakers behind Saving the Night Caller and other featured films for a conversation about their work, the stories behind the screen, and the power of visual storytelling to build awareness, strengthen advocacy, and inspire action.
